We are very honored to be nominated and funded by HKUST Technology Start-up Support Scheme for Universities (TSSSU) 2022/23. This award is dedicated to universities in Hong Kong to promote entrepreneurship based on the universities’ research and is one of the most competitive funding in Hong Kong. This is a very important milestone for us to facilitate our development and ensure AutoSafe can provide a safer environment for the construction industry. We also thank the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) for supporting AutoSafe through this award.
About TSSSU:
TSSSU launched in 2014 and provides funding support for six universities in Hong Kong to start developing technology businesses based on their Research and Development outputs.

About AutoSafe:
AutoSafe is an AI and computer-vision system that helps contractors with on-site supervision to prevent accidents on construction sites. AutoSafe focuses on three things:
1) AI-based Automatic site safety monitoring system, using the current CCTV system to monitor safety.
2) Integration with DWSS for drafting safety reports, using the information logged by the AI CCTV monitoring system to help Engineers to draft the safety/ incident report.
3) Multi-camera trajectory tracking for site analytics, extending our vision beyond a single CCTV camera so that we can understand the whole site better and allow us to have a better evaluation and analysis of the whole construction site.
With all these functions, AutoSafe handles the low-level information data gathering, saving time for the engineers and managerial staff to focus on more important tasks.
