Following the 2026 4S update, project teams should ask more than: “Which system should we buy?”
Start with three questions:
1 | Which high-risk activity needs attention on site?
MEWP entrapment and obstacle risks, scaffolding putlog conditions, or fire and smoke monitoring in high-risk areas?
2 | Can existing systems be integrated?
Consider MEWP models, existing CCTV, site networks, and CMP or control-platform arrangements.
3 | Who owns the follow-up after an alert?
Systems, notifications, records and site action need to work as one practical process.
