這不是全港工地意外總數，也不是一條用來製造恐慌的數字。
但每一份警示背後，都是一位工友、一個家庭，以及一個工作團隊。
從高處墮下、吊運與墜物，到人機交叉作業及夾困風險，事故類型不同；但它們都提醒我們：風險不能只在意外發生後才被看見。
預防仍然從人開始。
開工前做好風險評估、清楚分隔人員與機械、檢查設備與防護措施；當現場環境、工序或設備狀況有變時，停一停、重新評估。
同時，科技正為現場多加一層及早介入的能力。
AI 影像分析、智能感應器、危險區提示、人機距離警示及 MEWP 障礙物感測等技術，可協助將高危作業中的異常轉化為更早被看見的訊號。
但科技不會取代安全主任、主管或工友之間的溝通。
它的作用，是讓現場更早偵測、即時警示，讓人有時間停工、確認、處置和重新評估。
安全始終由人開始；科技，應該幫助每一個人平安回家。
The Labour Department issued 13 Work Safety Alerts in the first half of 2026.
This is not the total number of construction accidents in Hong Kong. Nor is it a number to create fear.
Behind every alert is a worker, a family and a project team.
Whether the risk involves falls from height, lifting operations, falling objects, worker-machine interaction or entrapment, the message is the same: risks should not be seen only after an incident occurs.
Prevention still starts with people.
Risk assessment before work, clear separation between people and machinery, equipment and safeguard checks, and a willingness to stop and reassess when site conditions change all remain essential.
Technology can add another layer of earlier intervention.
AI video analytics, smart sensors, hazardous-area alerts, worker-machine proximity warnings and MEWP obstacle sensing can help turn abnormal conditions during high-risk work into earlier risk signals.
Technology does not replace safety officers, supervisors or communication between workers.
Its role is to support earlier detection and timely alerts—giving people more time to stop, check, respond and reassess.
Safety always starts with people. Technology should help every person return home safely.
