Your Existing MEWP May Be Upgraded with AI Monitoring
An existing MEWP does not always need to be replaced immediately.
When reviewing safety requirements for work at height, the first step is to assess whether the equipment is suitable for an upgrade. Is the model compatible? Is there sufficient platform and operating space? Are overhead obstacles, site conditions and emergency rescue arrangements properly considered?
Following an assessment, some existing MEWPs may be upgraded with AI monitoring, safety alerts and secondary guarding solutions that add another layer of prevention for elevated work.
But an upgrade is not complete simply because a device can be fitted. Site deployment, installation testing and operator training must all work with the equipment and actual site conditions.
