Smart Site Safety System (SSSS)
The Hong Kong Smart Site Safety System (SSSS) is an integrated digital system designed to enhance safety and productivity on construction sites. Our SSSS is an integrated digital system that employs Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and artificial intelligence (AI) to provide real-time monitoring and analysis of construction site activities. Our system detects potential safety hazards, such as workers entering restricted areas or unsafe working practices, and alerts site managers so that corrective action can be taken quickly.

The SSSS employs a range of technologies, such as IoT sensors, AI, and cloud computing, to detect potential safety hazards in real-time and alert site managers so that corrective action can be taken quickly. The SSSS is mandated by the Hong Kong government on all public works projects with a contract sum of HK$30 million or above, and is encouraged for adoption by private sector construction companies as well. Compliance with government regulations is essential for critical jobsites, and the SSSS helps to ensure that all safety and productivity requirements are met.
The SSSS includes a centralized management platform that allows authorized users to access and manage data from construction sites. AI Real-Time Video Analytics
We invested years of research to improve our AI and hold exclusive patents under HKUST Ref: TTC.PA.1581 and HKUST Ref: TTC.PA.1623.
PPE Classification
PPE is essential for protecting workers from various hazards. However, not all PPE is created equal. By analyzing real-time video footage, our AI algorithm can detect the type of PPE being worn by workers, and determine whether it is appropriate for the task at hand. AI can also identify instances where workers are not wearing PPE at all, and alert site supervisors to take corrective action.
Workers Near Site Vehicles or Plant
By monitoring the danger zones, vehicles, and workers on a construction site, our AI can identify potential collisions and safety hazards and prevent accidents before they occur. This can help to reduce the risk of injuries and fatalities on construction sites, which is especially important given the hazardous nature of construction work.
Optional: Fire & Smoke Detection
Construction sites are particularly vulnerable to fires due to the presence of flammable materials, such as wood, plastics, and fuels, as well as the use of heat-producing equipment and tools. Our AI-based fire detection system can monitor construction sites for signs of fire, such as flames and smoke, and alert site personnel or emergency services in real-time.
