We are delighted that AutoSafe just successfully secured funding from The Lo Kwee Seong Technopreneurship (Tech-Ship) Fund. We are thankful to The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology for recognizing our staff’s hard work in bringing innovation to the construction industry while also being an example for future entrepreneurs from HKUST.
About Tech-Ship Program:
Lo Kwee Seong Tech-Ship fund is a fund administered by HKUST Entrepreneurship Center (EC) with collaboration with Technology Transfer Center (TTC) to support HKUST members (faculty, students and alumni) who want to set up a startup company with HKUST’s Intellectual Properties (IP).
About AutoSafe:
AutoSafe is an AI and computer-vision system that helps contractors with on-site supervision to prevent accidents on construction sites. AutoSafe focuses on three things:
1) AI-based Automatic site safety monitoring system, using the current CCTV system to monitor safety.
2)Integration with DWSS for drafting safety reports, using the information logged by the AI CCTV monitoring system to help Engineers to draft the safety/ incident report.
3) Multi-camera trajectory tracking for site analytics, extending our vision beyond a single CCTV camera so that we can understand the whole site better and allow us to have a better evaluation and analysis of the whole construction site.
With all these functions, AutoSafe handles the low-level information data gathering, saving time for the engineers and managerial staff to focus on more important tasks.
