🏗️ 4S Labelling: Installation Alone Is Not Enough
Installing cameras, sensors and a platform does not automatically qualify a project for a 4S label.
CIC’s assessment covers risk assessment, solutions matched to identified risks, deployment documentation, and proper installation and continuous functioning on site.

In CIC’s July–September 2026 surprise-inspection records, a facilities management decoration and maintenance project (label number: 4SL05254) had its label cancelled on 29 July 2026. This was a post-award inspection, rather than an initial application rejection.
Day-to-day management matters too. CIC’s application guide calls for regular functional checks, retention of check reports, and a backup plan when a malfunction cannot be rectified quickly.
